The AWPPW has won a union representation election held for the workers at Ponderay Newsprint in Usk, Washington! On September 15th, the National Labor Relations Board counted the ballots that were cast during the union representation election for voting that took place on September 3rd and 4th. The delay was caused by the company’s appeal of the National Labor Relations Board decision and direction for the election. Congratulations go to the employees at Ponderay Newsprint who had the courage and insightfulness to see through the company’s intense anti-union campaign and who voted "YES".
